NSW Government decision on Southern Campus of RNS Hospital
The LHD have announced that the Government will not be selling the land on the Southern Campus. The land will remain fully owned by the Government. Therefore, this appears to be great news. see http://www.nslhd.health.nsw.gov.au/…/Royal-North-Shore-Hosp…
It was also stated that there were no future plans to sell any other land on the hospital campus and also no penalties imposed as a result of the land not being sold.
One rider attached to this announcement is that the government still plan to build a building (that they will pay for) to house the Ministry of Health, Agency for Clinical innovation, Health Infrastructure and serval other government departments (see attached documents) and importantly it will also include Childcare.
With this decision the Master plan advisory committee can now get to work in determining how to provide the other remaining support services on the hospital campus that still haven’t got a home.

After handing out material for Stephen Ruff @ Waverton & Wollstonecraft this week I have quickly discovered: 1. the electorate is angry, both Liberal voters and non-Liberals; 2. they’re angry about much the same things – Hockey’s selfish, hypocritical & costly bailout, & re the party production-line Lib candidate being largely forced upon them; 3. a mood for ‘independence’, again!, is in the air! SUPPORT DR RUFF NOW – & let’s teach them a lesson together!

I love Ted Mack, BUT…..unless I know if you have been supporting Liberals in how you vote, cannot trust a “labour party proxy” disguised as an independent.

I applaud your stance on more open government.
I have been advocating for years that government contracts should not be commercial in confidence except under very limited defence/security circumstances. Both those who benefit from and those who spend our money should be fully and openly accountable. ALL government contracts should be published and available to all Immediately they are signed.
Who can argue?

To ensure that my vote does not go any further than Dr Ruff I would have to vote Ruff 1 and all other candidates 2. However this is not allowed and I must nominate all 13 candidates by a sequence of numbers. If Dr Ruff is eliminated, this corrupt procedure effectively deprives me of my right to exercise my vote and limit it to the candidate of my choice and no other as my vote then commences to swirl around in the remaining pool and will finish up with a candidate I don’t want! This has been the reason why I’ve not voted in years.
